Job description

We are hiring a material handler for our pharmaceutical production facility in Laurinburg, NC. If you have experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment, let’s talk!

What to expect as the material handler:

• Mon-Fri 7am-4pm schedule.
• On-site located in Laurinburg, NC.

Duties of the material handler:

• Assist in all operations and functions of the warehouse including physical product movement via forklift trucks.
• Participate in housekeeping activities.
• Participate in warehouse organization.
• Follow all EHS rules.
• Follow instructions of the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.
• Ensure the accuracy of inventory and space utilization throughout the warehouse.
• Ensure all articles stored in the warehouse are stored correctly and have identification.
• Follow good housekeeping practices for all areas of the plant and watch for any spills or other housekeeping issues needing attention both inside and outside of the facility.
• Operate forklifts safely.
• Assist other warehouse employees in completing tasks as requested by Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment by keeping racks, pallet area, and workstations neat and free of trash.
• Comply with all standard operating procedures (SOP’s), rules, and regulations.

Requirements to be the material handler:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.
• Valid driver’s license.
