About the Role

We are hiring a Material Handler / Baler‑Sorter to support a busy manufacturing operation in Lancaster, OH. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring the baler, shredder, and sorting area, separating good product from damaged material, and preparing waste materials for recycling.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, physically capable, and comfortable working on their feet in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor baler, shredder, and sorting equipment
• Sort product and materials to identify good product versus damaged product
• Feed materials into the shredder for recycling
• Properly route materials throughout the facility
• Read and follow production orders, waste tickets, and bale tickets
• Identify damaged board and separate it from acceptable product
• Monitor equipment and report issues or safety concerns
• Follow all PPE and workplace safety requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Practice good housekeeping and safe work habits
• Identify and report potential workplace hazards

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 30–50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to push and pull materials as needed
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling
