Job summary

CTDI is seeking a warehouse associate in Indianapolis for 1st shift (6:00AM - 2:30PM, Mon-Fri). You will perform foundational warehouse tasks, handle boxes, label cords, and keep a clean, safe workspace while meeting daily production goals.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with basic computer skills and reliability. We offer paid holidays, health/dental/vision coverage, 401(k), PTO, and weekly pay.

Responsibilities

  • Execute foundational warehouse tasks: packaging, unpackaging, put away, sorting, staging, picking, shipping and prep for production.
  • Cut open boxed inventory and place on appropriate shelf or rack.
  • Maintain tidy, organized workstation and ensure safety regulations are followed.
  • Complete required paperwork and digital records accurately and promptly.

1st Shift: 6:00AM - 2:30PM, Monday-Friday

Pay Rate

$16.60/hour

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Executes foundational tasks within a warehouse environment including but not limited to: packaging, unpackaging, put away, sorting, staging, picking, shipping and preparing units for production.
  • Cut open boxed inventory in the storage area or on the rack.
  • Place open boxes on the appropriate shelf of the flow rack.
  • Walk the length of the flow rack.
  • Wrap cords neatly and securely, ensuring they are tangle‑free.
  • Assist with labeling, tagging, or color‑coding wrapped cords as needed for easy identification.
  • Consistently meet or surpass daily production and quality goals.
  • Complete required paperwork, forms, or digital records accurately and promptly for documentation purposes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation.
  • Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations.
  • All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.

Preferred Skills And Experience
  • Previous experience working in a high‑volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.
  • Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher‑level staff.
  • Clerical skills.
  • Time‑management skills.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
Educational Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
  • Warehouse environment.
  • Stand dynamically for long periods.
  • Use hands and fingers to handle and/or feel; the ability to type, pick, pinch with fingers, seize, hold, grasp or turn with hands.
  • Lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Push and/or pull up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Reach up and out with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to climb stairs or ladders.
