Salary Ranges:

Material Handler: $19.25 - $25.90

Located in Minonk, Illinois, SMF, an Etnyre International Company, is a full-service metal manufacturing facility specializing in heavy and light fabrication for OEMs. With a fifty-year history servicing industries like construction, power generation, agriculture, and mining, we are a Tier One supplier to Fortune 500 clients, maintaining high standards and a reputation for quality. Our facilities encompass over 200,000 sq ft with comprehensive engineering, fabrication, and finishing processes. We are seeking experienced Material Handlers for our 3rd shift who are passionate about their work and can meet our production demands.

Job Duties

• Maintain production and distribution by pulling orders, delivering materials, and staging finished products
• Deliver materials timely to production areas to ensure standards are met
• Maintain inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies
• Locate materials by pulling and verifying against production orders
• Load and unload products safely and efficiently
• Document materials and supplies by recording units and locations
• Deliver products to storage bays following inventory control instructions
• Verify Bills of Lading and tags on products
• Maintain material handling equipment through inspections and repairs

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of material handling/forklift experience in heavy manufacturing/machine shop
• Strong attention to detail and observant
• Deadline-oriented
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs manually
• Good math, communication, and comprehension skills
• Forklift certification per OSHA standards
