Responsibilities

• Perform daily distribution yard activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping/building loads.
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Ensure loads match orders before vehicles exit the yard.
• Provide customer service as needed.
• Maintain broad knowledge of building material products and warehouse operations.
• Stay alert and adaptable to warehouse routines.
• Apply basic mathematical calculations.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Follow safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or two years of equivalent work experience.
• Ability to understand and communicate safety and work instructions.
• Ability to perform duties in all weather conditions, involving physical exertion.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of building materials and engineered wood products.
• Ability to measure and understand material lengths.
• Warehouse experience, including forklift operation, preferred.
