What your day‑to‑day will look like:
  • Receive, inspect, unload, and distribute incoming shipments while verifying accuracy against packing slips and promptly addressing any discrepancies with the Project Manager
  • Load and prepare outgoing shipments by palletizing, shrink wrapping, labeling, and staging materials, then coordinate pickups and deliveries with vendors and carriers
  • Monitor inventory levels, maintain accurate records, identify and label surplus materials, and replenish warehouse supplies to prevent shortages
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment following established safety procedures and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols
  • Maintain organized, clean, and safe warehouse areas including loading docks, receiving zones, storage locations, and equipment staging areas
  • Process shipping and receiving documentation accurately, track shipments, resolve discrepancies, and archive records in designated project files
  • Conduct safety, environmental, and compliance inspections, identify unsafe conditions, and ensure corrective actions are completed while managing waste collection and recycling
Required Qualifications:
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, or material handling
  • Forklift and pallet jack certification, or ability to obtain certification upon hire

  • Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and perform bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of warehouse inventory control systems and shipping/receiving processes
  • Experience operating powered industrial equipment beyond basic forklift and pallet jack operation
  • Familiarity with OSHA and site‑specific safety policies and compliance procedures
  • Experience coordinating with vendors, carriers, and internal customers in a logistics or supply chain environment
  • Ability to identify and resolve shipping discrepancies and operational challenges proactively
