Job summary

EthosEnergy in Houston, TX is seeking a Material Handler to support the Light Turbines team. You will manage shipments, prepare labels and documentation, verify orders, and process receipts in the system.

The role requires shipping/receiving experience, forklift operation, and MS Office proficiency, with a focus on safety and accuracy. Qualified candidates will be dependable, organized, and able to coordinate with production staff to meet ship dates.

Qualifications

• Previous shipping/receiving experience is required.
• Forklift operation experience is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage domestic and international shipments through carriers.
• Prepare shipping labels and export documentation for shipments.
• Coordinate the flow of goods from order preparation through shipment.
• Communicate with production staff to prioritize orders and meet ship dates.
• Track order status and provide ETAs to internal teams.
• Inspect orders, labels, and documentation for accuracy before shipment.
• Package goods and prepare orders for shipment.
• Process product returns and incoming supply orders per procedures.
• Follow shipping policies, procedures and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production area.

Join EthosEnergy’s Light Turbines team in Houston, TX as a Material Handler and play an important role in keeping daily operations moving. You’ll manage incoming and outgoing shipments, prepare shipping documentation and labels, verify order accuracy, and process receipts in the system.

Qualified candidates should have previous shipping and receiving experience, forklift operation experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. We’re looking for a dependable, organized team player who takes pride in safety, accuracy, and getting the job done right.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage domestic and international shipments through FedEx, UPS, DHL, and freight forwarders.
• Prepare shipping labels, export documentation, and required paperwork for international shipments.
• Coordinate the flow of goods from order preparation through final shipment.
• Communicate with production staff to prioritize orders and meet required ship dates.
• Track order status and provide accurate ETAs to internal teams.
• Inspect completed orders, labels, and documentation to ensure accuracy before shipment.
• Package goods and prepare orders for shipment.
• Process product returns and incoming supply orders according to established procedures.
• Follow all shipping policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production area.

Required Skills / Knowledge

• Excellent organization and time management.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.

Experience

• Previous shipping/receiving experience is required.
• Ability to operate a forklift.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25lbs
• Crate packaging required
• Unload equipment off trucks using crane and/or forklift
