Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a skilled Shipping and Receiving - Material Handler (P) at our Gibsonton, FL site. You will handle customer shipments, place castings in crates for shipping, and operate a forklift to move material across departments at the Gibsonton location.

Responsibilities include receiving castings, scheduling shipments, maintaining a clean warehouse, and coordinating trucking activities. Requires forklift certification, two years driving, and export control compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years forklift and pallet jack experience.
• Forklift Certification and Florida Driver’s License with at least two years driving and a clean MVR.
• Export license required by government regulations for this position.

Responsibilities

• Receive castings in OSS and move them to production areas.
• Schedule and coordinate shipments in the Transportation Management System.
• Maintain warehouse in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
• Move materials from receiving or storage to shipping or other designated areas.
• Coordinate truck activities and ensure timely deliveries.

A Snapshot of Your Day

In this role, you will be working with customer shipments and placing casting in crates for shipping. Using a forklift to move material from the different departments in the Gibsonton Florida Location.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Receiving castings in OSS and delivering them to the different production departments.
• Scheduling and coordinating shipments in our Transportation Management System.
• Ensuring warehouse is maintained in a clean, orderly, and visually attractive manner in compliance with policies.
• Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
• Scheduling and coordinating the truck activities.

What you Bring

• Evidence of High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3 years or more of Forklift and Pallet Jack experience.
• Must have a current Forklift Certification and valid Florida Driver’s License with at least two years driving and acceptable Motor Vehicle Report.
• The ability to work overtime and weekends when required.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
• This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security, and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
