Job summary

Manpower in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to support daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, storage, and order fulfillment. You will ensure products are accurately processed, stored, and shipped while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires 1–2 years in warehouse tasks, ability to operate powered equipment, and strong attention to detail. Competitive pay is provided with a schedule Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of warehouse, logistics, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience.
  • Ability to follow established procedures, work independently, and meet deadlines.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and inventory or shipping software.
  • Ability to operate powered industrial trucks and work comfortably at elevated heights.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, sort, count, and prepare materials and finished goods for storage and shipment.
  • Accurately fulfill customer orders while maintaining high quality and productivity standards.
  • Receive and inspect incoming materials and finished goods, verifying quantities, quality, and documentation.
  • Store inventory in designated locations following established procedures.
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment and material handling equipment as required.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and follow shipping, receiving, and inventory control procedures.
  • Use warehouse management and ERP systems to support daily operations.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and operational guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members and internal departments to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Work in varying warehouse temperatures, including:
    • Room Temperature: 59°F to 86°F
    • Cold Storage: 36°F to 46°F
    • Freezer Environment: -4°F to 23°F
  • Perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequently reach, bend, and lift up to 45 pounds.
  • Routinely push and pull up to 25 pounds.
  • Regularly climb and work at heights.
  • May handle packaged hazardous materials.
  • Work in an environment with moderate to high noise levels.
Additional Requirements
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential.
  • Ability to work overtime and adjusted schedules as business needs require.
  • Must be able to work other shifts with advance notice when operational needs arise.
  • Willingness to participate in on-the-job training and safety certification programs.
