Job summary

THK Manufacturing of America is seeking a dependable Material Handler to help manage the flow of materials in and out of our Hebron, Ohio facility. You will receive shipments, store inventory, and pull materials for production with accuracy and efficiency.

The role emphasizes forklift operation, adherence to FIFO, and teamwork in a safety-focused environment. The shift is 7am-3pm, with opportunities for growth and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Vocational training or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous material handling, shipping/receiving, logistics, or warehouse operations experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive and transport materials to correct warehouse locations and input movements into the system.
• Maintain organized storage areas and follow FIFO practices.
• Pull materials from designated areas and deliver to production while updating inventory system.
• Assist with regular cycle counts and report discrepancies to Accounting.
• Collaborate with supervisors to troubleshoot material handling challenges.
• Provide guidance to new team members and support workflow improvements.

THK Manufacturing of America is looking for a dependable and motivated Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you'll help manage the flow of materials in and out of our facility—from receiving and storing shipments to pulling and delivering inventory for production—all while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

7am-3pm

What You’ll Do

• Receive & Transport Materials: Move incoming shipments to the appropriate warehouse locations and input inventory movement into the system. Ensure stock quantities are accurate and correct any discrepancies.
• Inventory Management: Maintain well-organized storage areas to support efficient retrieval and ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) practices are followed.
• Pull & Disburse Materials: Receive Manufacturing Orders (MOs), confirm materials, pull inventory from designated areas, and deliver to production while updating the system.
• Cycle Counts & Confirmation: Assist with regular inventory checks, compare results with system records, and report discrepancies to Accounting.
• Problem Solving: Collaborate with supervisors and team members to troubleshoot day-to-day material handling challenges.
• Team Support & Training: Provide guidance to new team members as needed and assist other handlers with workflow improvements and task coordination.
• Maintain a Clean Workspace: Ensure your area is neat, organized, and always meets safety standards.
• Other Duties: Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the department.

What You Bring to the Table

• Forklift Certification (or willingness to earn one within orientation period)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
• Good hand-eye coordination and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Vocational training or equivalent experience preferred
• Previous experience in material handling, shipping/receiving, logistics, or warehouse operations is a plus
