Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation is seeking a warehouse associate to operate a forklift, manage shipping and receiving, and move materials across the plant. The role requires attention to safety, basic math, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers a morning shift (8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) with overtime as needed. Candidates should have 1–3 years of forklift experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operates forklift and completes daily safety inspections.
• Manages shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
• Reads bill of ladings/orders and loads/unloads delivery trucks.
• Inspects incoming deliveries for accuracy and damage.
• Supports manufacturing with material movement throughout the plant.
• Coordinates with machine operators and supervisors.
• Prepares materials for work centers.
• Completes required documentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operates forklift in accordance with company policy and completes daily safety inspections.
• Knowledge of shipping / receiving / inventory control principles and practices.
• Interprets and uses bill of ladings/orders.
• Loads and unloads delivery trucks.
• Inspects incoming deliveries for accuracy and any visible damage.
• Supports all manufacturing operations with material movement throughout the plant.
• Communicates and coordinate activities with machine operators and supervisors.
• Supplies required materials to work centers.
• Stages empty pallets for foam extrusion.
• Removes finished goods from work centers.
• Removes waste, scrap and paper bales from work centers, operates trash compactor as needed.
• Bands and wraps finished goods materials.
• Services packaging bander and wrapper equipment by replacing band material and film.
• Services grinding operations by replacing containers as they fill, sweeping the area and emptying the collection socks as needed.
• Completes documentation as required.
• Completes other duties as assigned by plant leadership, production leads, or shift leads.

Pay: $22-$25

Shift: Morning. Mondays to Fridays from 8 am to 4 pm. Overtime will be required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of forklift experience.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to solve problems and apply critical thinking to processes and equipment.
• Ability to use a tape measure.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
• High awareness toward safety for yourself and others.
• Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team or individually.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• College-level courses or trade school preferred, but not necessary.
• Ability to operate hoists, pallet jacks, and other related equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
• Ability to enter, exit, and drive a forklift without assistance.
• Pushing, pulling, lifting at least 40lbs.
• Eye/hand coordination.
