Job summary

Sauder's Eggs, located in Hampstead, MD, is seeking a Material Handler for the 1st shift. The role involves setting up lanes with cartons and flats per daily orders, restocking to keep the line running, and preventing jams throughout the day.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 6:20 am to 3:00 pm or until orders are complete. Candidates should be able to stand for 8 hours, lift 30–60 pounds, and perform basic computer tasks as needed.

• Must have good organizational skills and the ability to handle distractions and manage multiple tasks at the same time.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Must be able to stand 8 hours, reach, bend, squat, push/pull, and lift 30–60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs changeover when changing from cartons to flats or styrofoam.
• Maintains a clean floor area.
• Watches for jams and corrects them.
• Takes counts depending on remaining orders.
• Changes dates when needed.
• Performs computer tasks when needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

This is a 1st shift position at our Hampstead, MD Plant:

The Material Handler sets up the various lanes with cartons and flats based off orders for the day. This is a continuous process all day, restocking the lanes and eliminating jams to keep the line running efficiently.

Work Schedule:

Days - Monday to Friday
Hours - 6:20 am to 3:00 pm or until orders are complete

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs changeover when changing from cartons to flats or styrofoam
• Maintains a clean floor area
• Watches for jams and corrects them
• Takes counts depending on how much of an order is remaining
• Changes dates when needed
• Performs computer tasks when needed
• Performs other duties as assigned
