Dufrene Building Materials, Inc. in Hammond, LA is seeking an experienced lumber and material handler to join our yard team. A strong candidate will have building materials knowledge and forklift experience (not a forklift-only position). Full-time schedule.

Responsibilities include receiving and stocking materials, processing delivery work orders, assisting customers, loading and unloading trucks, and keeping the yard and warehouse clean and organized.

We are currently seeking experienced lumber and material handler for our location in Hammond, La. An ideal candidate would have Building Materials and FORKLIFT experience (not a forklift-only position). Must be available to work Full-Time Schedule.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receive and stock incoming materials
• Complete delivery work orders
• Handle customer material request
• Load and Unload materials on trucks
• Keep yard and warehouse clean and orderly

• Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used daily
• Ability to interact with customer, coworkers and visitors at the store while remaining professional, polite and courteous
