We are currently seeking experienced lumber and material handlers for our Belle Chasse location. An ideal candidate would have forklift experience (not a forklift-only position).

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock incoming materials
• Complete delivery work orders
• Handle customer material requests
• Load and unload materials on trucks
• Keep the yard and warehouse clean and orderly

Required Skills and Abilities

• Forklift experience
• Lumber yard experience (preferred)
• Detail-oriented and thorough
• Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used daily
• Ability to interact with customers, coworkers and visitors while remaining professional, polite and courteous
• Ability to work as a team
