• Capable of lifting 35 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to read and interpret production documents such as schedules, drawings, and orders.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and document in CMI Excel Receiving Log.
• Damaged parts arrival – handle as required.
• Received packing list to office daily.
• Order parts daily as requested while also maintaining inventory of stock.
• Coordinate local parts pick up as required.
• Minimize individual runs based on needs.
• Keeping proper documentation filing paperwork for billing and records.
• Overall upkeep and organization of shipping area as well as exterior storage pods.
• Processing RMA returns as needed.
• Other tasks include Assist in varying production needs as required.
• Snow removal/salt spreading.
• Forklift maintenance schedule, daily upkeep.
• LP and welding tanks monitoring for usage and ordering.
• Daily shop clean up, empty trash, sweep floors, and organize bins.

Job Description:

The Material Handler is responsible for supply management and ensuring all parts and supplies needed for production are maintained.

Scope of Work/Tasks:

• Receive incoming shipments and document in CMI Excel Receiving Log
• Damaged parts arrival – handle as required.
• Received packing list to office daily
• Order parts daily as requested while also maintaining inventory of stock
• Coordinate local parts pick up as required
• Minimize individual runs based on needs
• Keeping proper documentation filing paperwork for billing and records
• Overall upkeep and organization of shipping area as well as exterior storage pods
• Processing RMA returns as needed.
• Other tasks include Assist in varying production needs as required
• If/when slow – get with Beyea on assisting others
• Snow removal/salt spreading
• Forklift maintenance schedule, daily upkeep
• LP and welding tanks monitoring for usage and ordering
• Daily shop clean up, empty trash, sweep floors, and organize bins

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Microsoft office products, Word and Excel a must
• Good organizational skills
• Able to multi-task
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge and experience with hand and power tools
• Forklift Certification or experience
