Job Description

Weatherford is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating specialized lifting equipment, loading and unloading materials, and ensuring the safe and efficient movement of equipment within our facilities. You will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance, contributing to our operational success.

Responsibilities

1. Operate lifting equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and jib cranes, ensuring proper handling and transportation of materials.
2. Load and unload equipment from trucks, following safety guidelines and procedures.
3. Perform manual handling of equipment when necessary, using proper techniques to prevent injuries.
4. Organize and move equipment within storage areas or workshops efficiently.
5. Install and replace removable load grip devices and mechanisms as needed.
6. Pre-order fuel, lubricants, and spare parts to ensure seamless operations.
7. Perform additional duties as assigned by management, ensuring safety and timeliness.

Requirements

1. 2-4 years of related experience in material handling or similar roles.
2. Ability to operate hand tools, forklifts, cranes, and other lifting devices.
3. Basic mathematical and measurement skills.
4. Valid driver’s license and forklift certification.
5. Customer-focused with teamwork skills.
6. Adaptable, capable of multi-tasking, and willing to work with diverse personnel.

Education & Certifications
