Leggett & Platt in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Material Handler to receive, move, and ship materials supporting production lines. You will perform cycle counts, maintain inventory records, and operate fork trucks in a safe, efficient manner.
Requirements include a solid material handling background, forklift certification, ability to read production schedules, and strong attention to detail and safety. Basic math and ERP/MRP computer skills are preferred.

The Material Handler will be responsible for receiving, un-packing/packing material, palletizing, cycle counting, shipping, quality control, and data entry. Duties include pulling material to production area(s) for scheduled jobs, cycle counts, receiving stocking, shipping and maintaining accurate records on material movements.
