Job summary

Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for a Material Handler [Forklift Operator] in Grand Junction, CO. You will receive, select, and load materials and operate a forklift safely to support daily orders.

This is a full-time, on-site role requiring OSHA awareness and the ability to work outdoors in all weather, while providing basic customer service to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years equivalent experience.
• Ability to follow safety/work instructions.
• Comfortable with physical work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to use hand tools and chainsaw.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years equivalent experience.Able to understand and follow safety/work instructions.Comfortable with physical work in all weather conditions.Ability to use hand tools and chainsaw.

Preferred Qualifications: Forklift experience (sit-down/counterbalance).Familiarity with building materials.Able to measure and calculate material lengths.

Work Environment: High traffic warehouse and yard. Physically demanding; outdoors in all weather conditions.
