Job summary

Boise Cascade is seeking a Material Handler (Forklift Operator) to receive, load and move materials in a fast-paced warehouse. You will operate a forklift, verify orders, and support customers and teammates to fulfill daily shipments.

The role requires safety-minded individuals who can work outdoors in varying weather, with basic tools and physical stamina. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive, team-oriented environment on a large national network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years equivalent experience.
• Able to follow safety/work instructions.
• Comfortable with physical work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to use hand tools and chainsaw.

Responsibilities

• Receive, select, and load materials.
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Verify accuracy of orders after packaging and loading.
• Provide basic customer service to internal and external customers.
• Work with other team members to fulfill orders and complete tasks daily.
• Maintain clean working area.
• Follow all safety procedures (OSHA compliance).
• Perform daily safety checks on forklifts.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
