Job Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for moving, loading, and unloading materials under immediate supervision in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. This role ensures that KPS Global is able to meet quality, safety, and productivity standards and satisfy customer requirements.

Major Responsibilities

• Perform duties in accordance with current Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and KPS Global Code of Conduct requirements.
• Utilize hand trucks, hoists, and other material handling equipment to move materials and products as needed for production, shipping, or waste management.
• Operate hand tools including electrical and pneumatic powered tools.
• Construct shipping containers, prepare products for shipment, and crate and/or band products as required.
• Inspect products to ensure conformance to quality, engineering, and customer requirements.
• Complete and maintain accurate electronic processes and paperwork including checklists, stamping, blueprints, bar coding, and shipping/receiving systems.
• Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.
