Responsibilities

• Support molding production material requirements.

• Mix, blend dry and color raw materials in accordance with bill of material.
• Provide material and paperwork to production.
• Assemble and disassemble drying equipment for material changeovers.
• Maintain cleanliness of material during production runs.
• Maintain inventory control.
• Forklift operation.
• Reports to work on time and adheres to lunch/break schedules.
• Complete special projects and perform other duties as assigned by management.

POSITION SUMMARY: Material Handler

We are looking for a Material Handler experienced in manufacturing to join our dynamic team in Gainesville, Texas. This position is responsible for handling raw materials needed for the operation of injection molding machines, issuing and/or staging of materials and the use of central material loading systems.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Support molding production material requirements
• Operate rotating mixer and add raw plastic pellets as instructed
• Operate and feed used material into re-grinders
• Carry material up and down a movable step ladders
• Mix, blend dry and color raw materials in accordance with bill of material
• Providing material and paperwork to production
• Assemble and disassemble drying equipment for material change overs
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness of material during production runs
• Maintaining inventory control
• Forklift operation
• Reports to work on time and adheres to lunch and break schedules
• Complete special projects and perform other duties as assigned by management

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to use basic measurement tools
• Ability to perform basic math functions
• Ability to differentiate colors
• Ability to work in hot or cold temperature climates for extended periods
• Ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Ability to lift from floor to above the head, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds occasionally, throughout work shift
• Must use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms
• Ability and willingness to change job functions at a moment's notice
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
