Job summary

Oldcastle APG in Pennsylvania is seeking a Material Handler to support unloading, loading, labeling and staging of products to keep production operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include operating a forklift, weighing/shipping prep, palletizing, counting pallets, and moving material between machines and to the warehouse. High school diploma and forklift experience required; opportunity for growth with CRH family.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Ability to perform basic math skills accurately.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to understand basic English.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Assist in prepping shipment by weighing, wrapping, palletizing and labeling.
• Verify production counts on pallets.
• Unload inbound freight from trailers at receiving dock.
• Complete all necessary paperwork in an accurate manner.
• Remove trash and metal scrap to outside dumpsters.
• Move material to and from machines.
• Move production work in process between operations.
• Move finished product to warehouse.
• Occasional production handwork, as needed.

Job Summary
