Job Description: Warehouse Associate at Westlake

Job Summary

The primary responsibility of this position is to move materials and packaging materials to the production lines, remove finished goods from the line to the correct location, and perform other duties as assigned. The overall goal is to ship products to customers on time and complete, meeting or exceeding our customers' expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Comply with Westlake Safety Policies and Procedures
• Maintain regular attendance, punctuality, and flexibility in scheduling
• Pick raw materials from inventory
• Place raw materials at the correct workstation
• Place packaging materials at the workstation
• Remove finished goods from the workstation
• Place products in the warehouse
• Accurately complete transactions in the computer system
• Organize and maintain the warehouse
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills Requirements

• Ability to work an 8 to 12-hour shift
• Capability to be trained to operate a forklift

Physical Demands

The employee should possess the ability to:

• Stand or remain stationary for prolonged periods
• Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable
• Perform repetitive movements
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision, and hardhat protection)
• Lift/move/transport items up to 50 pounds
• Move around the facilities as needed
• Ascend/descend stairs or ladders
• Work around dust, chemicals, and other substances in various environmental conditions
