Job summary

Snelling is seeking a Material Handler to support loading/unloading trucks, moving materials within the warehouse, and operating hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, and scanners on 2nd and 3rd shifts. Get hands-on with shipping, receiving, and material staging to keep production flowing.

The role requires safe operation of forklifts and MHE, adherence to safety rules, and strong communication with production supervision to ensure material availability per shift.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to load/unload trucks and move materials safely.
• Familiarity with shipping/receiving processes and staging materials.

Responsibilities

• Unload/Stage incoming shipments with various MHE equipment.
• Operate forklift and power jacks safely observing all safety rules.
• Prepare/breakdown inbound shipment for accuracy validation.
• Pull orders and stage materials at production in a timely manner.
• Maintain regular and frequent communication with Production Supervisors to ensure necessary raw materials and product are available for each shift.
• Perform shipping and receiving function.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be responsible for assisting with loading/unloading trucks and moving material within the warehouse to and from the loading platform. The position also operates hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, computer and scanners.
