Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a motivated Material Handler in Clearwater, FL. You will ensure materials move efficiently through the facility, supporting production and operations.

The role offers a Monday-Thursday schedule (5:00 AM - 3:30 PM EST) with weekend overtime opportunities and a pay rate of $18.00–$20.00 per hour. ITAR/EAR compliance may apply and benefits are offered.

Position Details

• Job Title: Material Handler
• Location: Clearwater, FL
• Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
• Assignment Duration: November 16, 2026 - November 16, 2027
• Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM EST
• Overtime: Weekend overtime opportunities available

What You'll Do

As a Material Handler, you'll be a key contributor to daily operations, ensuring materials are accurately received, transported, stored, and distributed throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move materials within the plant, warehouse, yard, or worksite.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities.
• Open containers and packages using hand tools.
• Count, weigh, and verify materials while maintaining accurate records.
• Load and unload materials from pallets, racks, trays, conveyors, and machinery.
• Manually load and unload trucks as needed.
• Transport materials using equipment such as:
• Forklifts
• Electric dollies
• Hand trucks
• Wheelbarrows
• Elevators and other material-handling devices
• Stack, organize, and assemble materials for production and storage.
• Support machine operators by lifting and positioning materials and components.
• Utilize power hoists and material-handling equipment to move heavier items safely.
• Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, move, and position materials throughout the workday.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team environment.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in material handling, warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing.
• Forklift operation experience or certification.
• Experience working in aviation, aerospace, or other industrial production environments.
• Familiarity with inventory control or warehouse management systems.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
