Job summary

Amtec Enterprise is seeking a Material Handler/Expeditor in Ft Walton Beach, FL. The role · Release and track work packages and orders to initiate fabrication, repair, test, and delivery of material systems.

You will coordinate with planners and supervisors to prioritize and issue shop orders and drive ERP data updates. Qualifications include 2–4 years in a team environment, High School or GED, ability to lift 25 lbs, and proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Excel; ERP familiarity is needed.

Title:Material Handler/Expeditor
Location: Ft Walton Beach, FL 32548
Pay Range: $19.40/hr
Temp to hire
9/80 Work Schedule
Monday thru Thursday 9 hours/day; alternating 8 hour on / off Fridays

Summary:

• Release program work packages and work orders which initiate the procurement fabrication build repair test and delivery of state-of-the-art material systems and products.
• Monitor and report status and delivery of assemblies for Program Planner and Production use*Contact Program Material Planner and Production Supervisor for priorities and issues.
• Coordinate with Program Planner and Production Supervisor for shop order releases to manufacturing for specific products and sales orders spares and repairs.
• Move assemblies to appropriate work centers as required and perform ERP system updates and completions. Interface with stockroom personnel, Program Planning, Production Supervisor and personnel, as well as inter deparmental communications as required.
• Daily priorities will be determined and communicated by Program Planner in conjunction with Production Supervisor.

Skills Required:

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Position requires ability to walk, stand, push materials and items on carts, as well as perform desk duties.
• Computer skills required: Microsoft 365 email, Excel spreadsheets, ability to learn ERP system database and enter accurate data.
• Valid driver's license required and ability to drive company vehicle locally as required.
• Ability to read, write, speak English.

Experience Required:

• 2 to 4 years in a working team environment.
• Necessary duties can be taught with basic required skills already in place
