Mattr in Fairfield, Ohio is seeking a Material Handler for the third shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) to support efficient material flow. The role focuses on loading, unloading, storing, and issuing materials, maintaining accuracy in ERP records, and assisting production with kitting and material pulls.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, warehouse experience, and proven ability to operate forklifts safely.

Impact of this Role

As a Material Handler, you play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and availability of materials that support business operations. This position helps maintain inventory accuracy, supports production through material kitting and issuing, and contributes to a safe, organized warehouse environment. By following established procedures and maintaining accurate records, you help drive operational efficiency and support the successful flow of materials throughout the facility.

What Success Looks Like

• Safely load, unload, move, store, and issue materials in accordance with company procedures and safety requirements.
• Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance of assigned forklifts and warehouse equipment.
• Accurately receive, store, and process materials while maintaining electronic records within the ERP system.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counting and inventory reconciliation activities.
• Support production by following pull lists and kitting materials as required.
• Efficiently operate reach trucks, pickers, and industrial forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while collaborating effectively with team members.

What You Bring To The Role

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous warehouse and/or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and pickers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
• Basic math, computer, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and electronically.
• A quality-focused, self-driven, and safety-minded approach to work.
• Ability to lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
