Aventure Staffing is seeking a dependable Material Handler in Estherville, IA. This role supports daily operations by organizing materials, moving items, and assisting with receiving and distribution in a well‑established electrical supply environment.

Responsibilities include assembling components, using hand tools and torque settings, and maintaining safety and quality standards. The position offers a Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm shift with weekend OT on rare occasions.

Qualificações

• Inventory management ability to track materials and supplies.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics and measurements.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and standing 6-8 hours.
• Experience with hand tools and basic torque setting procedures.

Material Handler $18.50/hr Monday-Friday 1st Shift- 7:00am - 3:30pm, plus Occasional Saturday OT

We are seeking motivated and dependable Material Handlers for an established electrical supply company in Estherville, IA, that has been in business for 50 years.

It ensures materials are organized, properly handled, and readily available to support daily operations. Responsibilities may include moving materials, supplying production areas, organizing inventory, and assisting with the receiving and distribution of components while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, takes pride in staying organized, and wants to be part of a reliable production team at a well‑established company. Previous material handling or manufacturing experience may be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct labor duties assigned by the Power Cable Lead/Supervisor, including the assembly of power cables, junction boxes, and other required component parts following established specifications.
• Use automatic equipment and hand tools effectively and safely during assembly.
• Use proper torque settings for each type of receptacle assembled during the production process using the reference guide and by asking the supervisor or lead for guidance.
• Assemble all products according to established guidelines.
• Meet established production and labor requirements.
• Abide by company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Assist other departments as required or directed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Manage Inventory needs.
• Ability to identify basic primary colors independently.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics and measuring (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division; use a ruler to measure lengths & widths accurately.)
• Must be able to use automatic equipment and hand tools effectively and safely during the assembly process.
• This includes the ability to establish proper torque settings.
• Prepping conduits/wire reels.
• Staging completed assemblies for electrical testings.
• Pulling raw materials for specific work orders.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Must have dexterity and strength in both hands.
• Must be able to stand consistently for 6-8 hours.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
