Job Overview:

The shipping and receiving/material handler is responsible for overseeing and processing all inbound and outbound shipments within the Factory.

Responsibilities:

  • Unload truck, count, verify and receive product.
  • Shelve materials.
  • Report any damages or shipment discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Perform cycle counts for raw material.
  • Picking and staging material for production lines.
  • Conduct annual physical inventory.
  • Pack and ship all outbound material
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience
  • Sense of urgency and self-motivation; ability to work independently
  • Ability to work cross functionally within a team
  • Willingness to learn new computer programs and to become proficient in using RF devices
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic math and organization skills
  • Previous receiving and shipping experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to lift up 30-50 lbs
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to see/read labels

Rate of Pay: $16.50

Employment Type: Temporary with eligibility for Full-Time employment with benefits after 90 days.
