Job summary

WireMasters is seeking a Material Handler to manage incoming and outgoing material in our Mesa, AZ warehouse. You will load, unload, label, stock, and inspect material, ensuring accurate inventory and smooth order fulfillment.

You will operate forklifts and pickers, maintain a clean, organized workspace, and follow safety protocols while preparing shipments and paperwork. A strong attention to detail and reliable teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

Basic Function

The Material Handler is responsible for performing all duties related to incoming and outgoing material.

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, and transfers material to designated areas in accordance with training procedures.
• Labels and stocks material in warehouse utilizing equipment (i.e., scan guns, forklifts, or pickers) – lifting and carrying material may be required.
• Inspects material for deficiencies or breakages prior to shipment or warehouse storage.
• Records all material discrepancies utilizing appropriate procedures.
• Completes inventory preparation for warehouse stock.
• Pulls material from the shelf in accordance with ticket requirements (use of forklift or picker required).
• Respools and fills customer order in accordance with ticket and completes appropriate paperwork/checklists.
• Organizes and prepares material for shipments as needed.
• Follows ticket instructions and shipping standards in accordance with procedures.
• Ensures all material is packaged adequately to prevent freight damage.
• Always maintains a neat and orderly workplace – includes moving pallets, straightening inventory, sweeping, and removing/disposing of debris.
• Follows safety procedures in accordance with approved training and reports any dangerous conditions to management immediately.
