Job summary

Advantage Technical is seeking a Materials Handler for a 1st shift in Cockeysville, MD. The contract is 3 months with potential to extend. Pay is $21.00 per hour, and the role requires hands-on warehouse experience with forklift operation.

You will receive, store, label, pack, and load materials, assist with inventory, and ensure accurate shipping/receiving records while following all safety procedures. Strong organizational skills and basic Excel knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of material handling, inventory control, or warehouse operations.
• 1+ years of forklift operation; certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with shipping notices, packing lists, and prints.
• Basic computer and Excel skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Receive, identify, store, and deliver raw materials and parts.
• Label, pack, and load items per specifications; assist with unloading incoming trucks.
• Disposit materials from shop orders, material requisitions, and receiving reports.
• Fill and distribute material and repair orders.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and dollies.
• Handle and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous waste per local, state, and federal requirements.
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
• Communicate effectively with team members; attend team meetings.
• Keep equipment and work area clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures.

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (3 month contract position possibly longer)

Location: Cockeysville, MD

Pay: $21.00 hour

What You'll Do (Job Duties)
