Novagard is seeking a material handler to move raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products between Receiving, Warehouse, Production, and QA, ensuring accuracy in system records. This role uses RF Smart scanning and forklift operations to keep inventory aligned with production needs.
Responsibilities include staging for work orders, bin management, daily spot checks, and strict adherence to FIFO and labeling standards to support efficient, safe operations on the production floor.
The Material Handler is responsible for executing accurate, disciplined material movement across the warehouse and production floor to ensure physical inventory aligns with system records. This role serves as the frontline owner of material flow, ensuring all material transfers, bin movements, and work order staging are properly scanned and recorded in the system. Material Handlers support receiving and raw material binning, stage materials accurately for production, maintain bin and FIFO discipline, and identify discrepancies between physical inventory and system data. By ensuring correct execution at the point of movement, this role plays a critical part in protecting inventory accuracy, reducing production delays, and supporting efficient, reliable operations.
