Duracell is seeking a Material Handler in Tennessee to support manufacturing operations by unloading, routing, and processing drum- and palletized materials. You will verify counts, operate a forklift, and use scanners to move goods to Hub locations.

The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced battery manufacturing environment, with a focus on safety and accuracy, including daily forklift inspections and maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to operate equipment safely.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced battery manufacturing operation.
  • Capability to handle products up to 90% of the shift.
  • Must maintain safety and quality standards.
  • Physical stamina to walk, stand, stoop, or bend for the full shift.

Responsibilities

  • Unloading, routing, and processing drums, totes, containerized and/or palletized material.
  • Verify material and container counts of material received.
  • Operate forklift (stand up/sit down).
  • Use scanner for material transactions.
  • Pick and stock bulk material.
  • Inspect products for damages and report to supervisor.
  • Conduct daily forklift inspections.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

As a Material Handler, you will contribute to the manufacturing process by unloading, routing, and processing drums, totes, containerized and/or palletized material. Responsibilities consist of processing material transfers, loading, and unloading outbound trailers to Hub locations.

Responsibilities
  • Verifying material and container count of material received
  • Forklift operation (stand up/sit down)
  • Scanner usage
  • Picking and stocking bulk material
  • Inspecting products of any inconsistencies, reporting damages to immediate supervisor
  • Daily forklift inspections
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
  • Possess the ability to operate equipment properly and safely
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Have the capability to work in a fast-paced battery manufacturing operation
  • Possess the ability to handle product and components up to 90% of the shift
  • Have a strong commitment to working safe
  • Possess the physical stamina to walk, stand, stoop, or bend up to 100% of the shift
