Job summary

The Dixon Group in Chestertown, MD is hiring a Material Handler to move goods through receiving, stocking, picking, packing and shipping processes. You will operate forklifts and assist with inventory accuracy in a fast-paced distribution center.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, warehouse experience, a valid forklift certification if possible, and a reliable, team-focused work ethic with strong time management to meet deadlines. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely receive, store, and move materials throughout the distribution center
• Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment according to customer orders
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other warehouse equipment
• Maintain accurate inventory counts through regular system updates
• Identify and use appropriate packaging materials to protect products in transit
• Coordinate with shipping, customer service, and inventory teams to meet delivery deadlines
• Assist with general warehouse upkeep and organization as needed

Work Hours: 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Pay Range: $17 - $20 per hour

The Dixon Group is looking for a Material Handler to join our Distribution Center team in Chestertown, MD! In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring products move efficiently through our warehouse—from receiving and stocking to picking, packing, and shipping customer orders. You’ll operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move inventory safely, maintain accurate records, and help keep our distribution processes running smoothly.
