Purpose

Assist with loading/unloading trucks and general transfer of merchandise.

Essential Duties

• Load and unload trucks for store deliveries
• Follow weighing procedures
• Transfer merchandise and salvage items
• Move carts and Gaylords within the plant
• Complete required paperwork
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards
• Develop skills for increased truck runs and merchandise handling
• Work independently and cooperatively

Additional Duties

• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Move and organize merchandise, possibly using a pallet jack
• Obtain a forklift license

Education
