Base pay range
$16.00/hr - $22.00/hr
Summary
Starting Rate: $16.00-$22.00/Hour
Hours: M-Thurs 5:30am-4:00pm with some mandatory Fridays (depending on production needs)
Address : 322W 32nd St. Charlotte, NC 28206 ***Will be relocating to York SC in July of 2025***

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final distribution
- Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final distribution.
- Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory.
- Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed for production lines.
- Locates and packs materials to present to the production lines.
- Documents materials and records units delivered and location of units.
- Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
- Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other machinery to move items.
- Ability to meet production standards.
- Maintain good attendance record and be able to work overtime as needed.
- Maintain good safety record.
- Maintain positive attitude.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Direct responsibility for designated department(s).
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Certified to operate a forklift.
- Certified to operate a crane.
- Adept at handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of inventory control.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Previous stock or inventory experience a plus.
- Ability to understand basic engineering drawings.
- Experience with steel and manufacturing is a plus.
- Experience with ERP or WMS System.
- Operating knowledge of handheld mobile devices such as an RF.
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or relative experience and/or training for job classification.
Language Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
- Requires tape measure reading knowledge and understanding of basic engineering drawings.
- Basic math including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
- Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving many variables in standard and complex situations.
