Job description

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Carpentersville, IL

Hours for First Shift are 6:00am - 2:30pm CT

Responsibilities:

1. Read and understand order part description and bill of material.
2. Supply correct component parts to all work areas.
3. Ensure component parts are in queue and ready for the next assembly work order.
4. Change out component parts on every line, maintaining the Whls./Hr. Rate.
5. Return leftover component parts to stock.
6. Reweigh or count parts going back into inventory.
7. Look for similar parts in inventory and consolidate to minimize the number of bins in stock.
8. Help prepare pallets, cartons, etc.
9. Perform daily 5S cleanup.

Qualifications:

1. At least 1 year of Material Handler experience within a manufacturing facility.
2. Inventory management experience.
3. Ability to read and understand part descriptions and BOMs.
4. Forklift experience, including sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
