• Pull and prepare customer orders for shipment while ensuring accuracy.
• Perform order picking activities using RF scanners and inventory tracking systems.
• Verify inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and inspect products for damage.
• Report inventory discrepancies and assist with cycle counts and inventories.

Position Title: Material Handler Wage: $19.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm (Mon-Fri)

Material Handler Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments and transport products to designated storage locations.
• Load outbound shipments and stage materials for delivery and shipment.
• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Move, stack, stage, and organize products throughout the warehouse.
• Operate propane-powered forklifts and other powered material handling equipment.
• Utilize manual pallet jacks as needed.
• Pull and prepare customer orders for shipment while ensuring accuracy.
• Perform order picking activities using RF scanners and inventory tracking systems.
• Use scan guns for receiving, put-away, inventory movement, and shipping functions.
• Verify inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and inspect products for damage.
• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, or quality concerns.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Follow proper stock rotation procedures.
• Maintain equipment, work areas, and warehouse locations in a clean and organized condition.
• Support warehouse security and safe operating practices.
• Follow OSHA, AIB, and company safety regulations.
• Promote safe operation of forklifts and warehouse equipment at all times.

Material Handler Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of forklift operating experience required.
• Ability to safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
• Experience using RF scan guns and warehouse management systems.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
• Ability to make decisions and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous corrugated manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment.
• Ability to frequently get on and off forklifts throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in cold warehouse environments.
• Dependable attendance and commitment to workplace safety.
• Will operate both sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
