Staffmark is hiring a Material Handler in Valencia, CA. The role involves safely operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts, verifying shipments, and maintaining accurate SAP inventory records to support production lines.

We value accuracy, communication, and a team-focused approach. Qualified candidates will have 3+ years of material handling experience, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strong data-entry skills.

Responsabilidades

• Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against POs and docs.
• Inspect materials for damage and report issues promptly.
• Load/unload, and move materials using forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Organize and label inventory; track in SAP.
• Pull and deliver materials to production lines per work orders.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
• Collaborate with production to ensure material availability.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and safety standards.

Now hiring Material Handler

Location: Valencia, CA
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
Schedule: 2nd Shift/ 3pm-11:30pm

Here’s the Deal. We Need Someone Who:

• Must be able to operate a sit down and stand up forklift
• 3+ years of experience
• Can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Steel-toe boots
• Strong data entry and inventory tracking experience (SAP preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments
• Team-oriented mindset with flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Day-to-Day

• Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against purchase orders and delivery documentation for accuracy
• Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly
• Safely load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment
• Organize and store inventory in designated locations with proper labeling and tracking
• Pull, verify, and deliver materials to production lines based on work orders
• Maintain accurate inventory records, including receipts, usage, and returns in SAP
• Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy
• Read work orders or formulas to determine required materials and quantities
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely material availability and minimize downtime
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs as necessary
• Follow all safety guidelines to maintain a clean and compliant work environment
