Job summary

Our client, a leading organization in healthcare and logistics, is seeking a Material Handler to join their warehouse team. You will support operational efficiency and accuracy by handling prescription vials, Unit of Use and Bulk items, and scanning barcodes.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand 8+ hours, and basic math, reading, and computer skills. Climate-controlled environment and potential temp-to-hire are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and carry 20–30 lbs consistently.
• Standing and walking 8+ hours per day with good computer skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manually fill prescription vials with prescribed tablets and capsules.
• Retrieve and process Unit of Use and Bulk items accurately.
• Read computer screens to locate medications and verify size/strength before filling orders.
• Replenish medications in automated cells to full capacity, handling large quantities.
• Use handheld scanners to scan barcodes for replenishment and order processing.

As a Material Handler, you will be part of the warehouse support team supporting operational efficiency and accuracy. The ideal candidate will have reliability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Pay Range: $17.50

Shift:Sunday: 9am-5:30pm
Monday: 9am-2pm
Tuesday 9am-2pm
Thursday: 9am-2pm
Friday: 9am-5:30pm

What's the Job?

• Manually fill prescription vials with prescribed tablets and capsules.
• Retrieve and process Unit of Use and Bulk items accurately.
• Read computer-generated screens to find indicated medication on labeled shelves, verify size and strength of the product before filling order.
• Replenish medication in automated cells to full capacity, opening large quantities of bottles and cases of product.
• Use handheld scanners to scan barcodes of products for replenishment and order processing.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and carry 20-30 lbs consistently.
• Standing and walking continuously during the shift (8+ hours per day).
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Good computer skills and attention to detail.
