Job summary

Vantedge Medical Company is seeking a Material Handler to safely move, store, and distribute materials within a warehouse or manufacturing setting. You will support production and shipping by ensuring accurate receiving, organization, and timely delivery of materials.

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous warehouse or material handling experience is a plus.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification may be required).
  • Basic computer and inventory management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments to the warehouse.
  • Move materials and products using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other equipment.
  • Store inventory in designated locations according to company procedures.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare materials for production or shipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and complete required documentation.
  • Perform regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counting activities.
  • Ensure materials are properly labeled and organized.
  • Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean, orderly work environment. (5S principals)
  • Report damaged materials, inventory discrepancies, or safety concerns to supervisors.
  • All other duties assigned by the supervisor.

About this Opportunity

The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and distribution of materials, products, and inventory within a warehouse building or manufacturing facility.
