Job summary

McCoy Global in Broussard, LA is seeking a Material Handler to support shipping, receiving and warehouse operations while maintaining safety, quality and inventory accuracy.

The ideal candidate has 2 years in a warehouse, can lift heavy objects, operate a forklift, and work well in a team. Training is provided; benefits include time off, wellness days, vacation, 401(k) matching and ESPP.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift and safely handle heavy objects (team lift when required).
• Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel/Outlook/Microsoft 365.
• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.

The Material Handler is responsible for supporting shipping, receiving and warehouse activities while maintaining safety, quality, and accuracy of inventory movement.

What you’ll bring:

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment
• Ability to lift and safely handle heavy objects within reason (team lift where required)
• Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Microsoft 365
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle complex tasks and adapt to change
