Job summary

McCoy Global in Broussard, LA is seeking a Material Handler to support shipping, receiving and warehouse activities while upholding safety, accuracy and inventory control.

The ideal candidate has 2 years in a warehouse, can lift heavy objects, operates a forklift and ERP/MS Office tools. Strong teamwork, adaptability and time management are valued in a collaborative, safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift and safely handle heavy objects within reason (team lift where required).
• Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Microsoft 365.
• Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to change and handle complex tasks.

Responsibilities

• Strict adherence to Company Safety Policies and regulations.
• Assist Shipping/Receiving Coordinator with pulling and packaging material for shipment.
• Assist Shipping/Receiving Coordinator with receiving, labeling and stocking material.
• Pick, kit, and distribute materials for production operations as needed.
• Communicate and cooperate with peers and other departments.
• Keep warehouse and related work areas clean and organized.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
