Job Summary

The Material Handler will be responsible for performing all material handling functions associated with stocking, pulling, and loading products. This position requires operating a forklift to move stock within the warehouse and to load trucks for shipment.

Responsibilities

1. Pick up and move moulding from pack lines.
2. Place moulding into staging or stock areas.
3. Load moulding onto trucks for shipment.
4. Prepare moulding for shipment and read pick sheets and load sequences.
5. Perform daily maintenance on lift trucks.
6. Count and verify moulding cartons.
7. Maintain safety standards and comply with company policies.
8. Collaborate with team members and maintain attendance.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Implement and adhere to HSE programs and policies.
• Lead safety meetings and conduct safety observations.
• Participate in safety training and incident investigations.
• Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6-12 months of related experience, especially in shipping or warehouse environments.
• Experience operating a forklift is highly desirable.
• Basic computer skills and ability to perform simple math.
• Effective communication skills in written and verbal form.

Physical Demands

• Regularly sit, use hands, reach, talk, hear, stand, and walk.
• Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.

Work Environment

• Work near moving mechanical parts and at heights occasionally.
• Occasional outdoor work and handling flammable materials.
• Exposure to fumes or airborne particles and moderate to loud noise levels.
