Job summary

Packaging-Corporation-of-America is seeking a 2nd shift general production worker to support a busy manufacturing line. You will work as part of a team to increase productivity, reduce downtime, and minimize waste while following safety rules.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, pass background and drug tests, and be available for overtime and weekend shifts. Prior packaging experience is a plus, and certification to operate industrial trucks is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to pass background check and drug test.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and bend/sit for long periods.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends.

• Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Must be able to sit, stoop, and bend.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend and sit for extended hours.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment.
• Certified industrial truck operator.
