Aerotek is seeking a dependable Material Handler to support production, warehouse, and shipping in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Bartlett, IL. This second-shift role operates in a union environment and includes forklift training.

You will move materials, load/unload goods, operate forklifts, and use handheld scanners to maintain inventory accuracy. The position is contract to hire with stability and team growth potential.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility.

• Perform cycle counts and inventory transactions accurately.
• Inspect materials and labels for quality and identification.

Material Handler

2nd Shift | Union Environment | Specified Forklift Training Provided

We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to support production, warehouse, and shipping operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position plays a critical role in keeping materials flowing throughout the facility, ensuring production teams have the components and supplies needed to meet customer demand.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility to support production and shipping operations
• Load, unload, stage, and organize materials in designated warehouse and production areas
• Operate forklifts, tow motors, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Use handheld scanners and inventory systems to track material movement and maintain inventory accuracy
• Perform cycle counts and complete inventory transactions accurately
• Inspect materials, containers, and labels to ensure quality and proper identification
• Support shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following all company safety procedures

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience preferred
• Forklift or powered industrial truck experience is a plus
• Comfortable working with inventory systems and handheld scanners
• Ability to lift, move, and organize materials throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Reliable attendance and ability to work a consistent second-shift schedule

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
