Qualifications

  • Forklift experience required for material handling.
  • Must be able to perform duties safely and efficiently.
  • Capable of physical mobility and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Job Description SUMMARY

Transport materials and product throughout the plant in a safe and efficient manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES
  • Fill machine hoppers with caps.
  • Fill bulk glue tanks with adhesive.
  • Order needed materials.
  • Load liner roll lifters, deliver materials to machines, and move finished goods to the warehouse.
  • Remove and place recycling and trash in proper containers and maintain cleanliness of department.
  • Back up Group Leader and Quality Assurance Inspector as needed.
  • Must perform any other assigned duties.
  • Accepts responsibility to comply with all safety, quality, customer, ISO, SQF and any other regulatory requirements.
  • And has the authority to report concerns that could impact these requirements or suggest areas for improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Must have excellent attendance.
  • Must have good housekeeping skills.
  • Must have knowledge of product identification and have basic math skills.
  • Must have forklift experience.
  • Must be able to perform all duties in a safe and effective manner.
  • Capable of physical mobility including walking, sitting, bending, twisting, standing, pushing, pulling and lifting (up to 50 pounds periodically).
  • Able to work in a production environment, recognizing various sounds and alarms.
  • Able to perform all duties in a safe and effective manner.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
