Job summary

Amcor Oshkosh is seeking a Material Handler to support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material movement across our manufacturing operations. The role ensures materials are moved safely and efficiently while maintaining inventory accuracy.

You will lead safety initiatives, operate forklifts, load/unload trailers, and follow GMP/ISO procedures. Collaboration with teams and engagement in Kaizen projects will be expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, and follow customer specifications and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping skills.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry, email, and production systems.

• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Act as a safety leader and promote a safety-first culture.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Load and unload trailers as needed.
• Receive, identify, and move materials while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Collect and load scrap materials for recycling and resale.
• Stretch wrap pallets and move finished goods and work-in-process materials.
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse and inventory storage areas.
• Follow GMP, ISO, PPE, and quality procedures.
• Support Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist other production areas and complete additional tasks as assigned.

About The Role

Amcor is hiring a Material Handler to support shipping, receiving, inventory management, and material movement throughout our Oshkosh manufacturing operations. In this role, you will help maintain inventory accuracy, support production flow, and ensure materials are safely and efficiently moved throughout the facility.
