Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Stockroom support professional to assist with material movements and control tasks across manufacturing and shipping areas. The role involves safe, accurate handling of materials and corresponding system entries.

You'll use RF scanners, operate material handling equipment, and maintain FIFO and bin management, with emphasis on accuracy, documentation, and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Advanced PC skills including familiarity with Windows and Jabil software packages.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates movement of material to manufacturing areas to support production schedules.
• Movements of all material types requiring replenishment to manufacturing areas.
• Executes material movements to shipping, prep areas, and offices.
• Uses RF scanners for ERP transactions.
• Operates material handling equipment as needed.
• Maintains bin management and FIFO maintenance.
• Returns unused materials to stockroom from manufacturing areas using RF.
• Disposes scrap components properly.
• Pulls material for purges from stock as needed.
• Performs warehouse cycle-counts where appropriate.
• Verifies material movements and paperwork for accuracy.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
