Job summary

BARNES Aerospace West Chester division in Ohio is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support material flow and logistics in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is on 1st shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, and requires forklift experience.

The role includes maintaining MRP data, verifying shipping/receiving documents, coordinating with customers and suppliers, and performing cycle counts and physical inventory. A High School Diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of computer experience in a manufacturing setting, including MRP systems, MS Word/Excel/Outlook/Teams and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system with daily delivery information.
• Checks, verifies and records results of required information on planning, shipping and receiving documents including dimensional checks here appropriate.
• Communicates significant problems and/or deviation to responsible person with corrective action for concurrence and resolution.
• Orders packaging materials.
• Package finished product and preparing shipping documents, etc. to support the flow in and out of the facility.
• Perform cycle counting and coordinating the annual Physical Inventory.
• May perform other duties as required.
• Process all material returns from customers and suppliers.
• Deliver and pick-up parts from customers and suppliers.
• Forklift experience required.
